   Approvals - Quickly approve or deny time off requests, schedule change requests, and unavailability requests. A filter has been added to show results by request type.

   Time Off - Review already approved or denied time off requests, with the option to change the status and notify employees.

   Time Entry - Reconcile employee punches polled from the point-of-sale. A new setting now allows tips to poll directly to Time Entry (i.e. Micros POS or Positouch) without the need to use the Daily Employee Totals (now called Gratuities). Contact Compeat Support to set this up. Added a filter for Schedule Group and Job to make it easier to narrow results.

   Gratuities - Now part of the Time Entry Screen, use Gratuities to allocate tips across employees or import an Excel template to update tips.

   Historical Time Entry - Review punches that have already been closed and exported to payroll.

   Audit Log - Review transactions that have been added/edited/deleted/posted in Workforce.

   User Activity - Users that are currently signed in to Workforce.

   Messages - Use the Messages icon to read or compose messages to staff.

   My Profile - Edit your user settings (i.e preferences & alerts, contact information, emergency contacts).

   Check Me In/Check Me Out - Use to turn on/off notifications generated from staff activity (employees requesting shift changes, time off requests, etc.).

   Pay Stubs - View past pay stubs if your company uses Compeat Payroll

This version of Workforce begins the preparation for a Phase 1 release of the new and improved browser-based Workforce. This version is built entirely in mobile-responsive HTML5 and accessible from any browser and mobile or tablet devices. In preparation for this first release coming soon, the existing Workforce menus have been updated.

 

   Group Security (screen access) has been detached from Compeat Advantage. Screen access can now be independently created within Workforce without dependencies on Advantage.

   Administrator and Manager Stock Groups now exist. These stock groups will automatically update with new features, and cannot be edited. New groups can be copied and edited from the stock groups.

   Workforce Menus are now structured as defined:

       Labor Admin (Configurations, Security, Entities, Scheduling Setup, Forecasting Setup, Wage Rule Setup, Labor Definitions).

       Labor Manager (Scheduling, Employees, Reports - Scheduling, Reports - Labor Analysis, Reports - Employees)

       Time & Attendance (Time Worked, Reports - Time & Attendance, Utilities)

   WF-1221 - Punch validation has been corrected to show line record hours and meal hours.

   WF-1217 - An error encountered in Employee Imports when using Merge Options for duplicate records has been corrected.

#76844 - For Compeat Payroll customers with direct deposit enabled, employees will now be able to add and edit bank account information under the My Info menu.

#36164 – The ability to add time off request black out days has been added.  Managers can create blackout days to limit the number of time off requests for specific dates or date ranges and/or recurring days (ie every Friday).  The blackout days can be assigned to specific schedule groups and/or jobs but can still be overridden directly by a manager on behalf of an employee.

#75500 – Added ability to assign Payroll Items to an employee on a specific entity.  Leaving the entity selection empty will apply the Payroll Item to all entities.

 

myWorkforce Bug Fixes

#72512 – The Begin and End dates when approving time off requests unavailability has been corrected so they appear in the proper order.

#73164 – Forecasted Sales and Actual sales are now showing up on the Manager’s Daily Shift report when being filtered by Day Part.

#73304 – When sending messages, the employee list is now filtered by the user’s access rights.

#74833 – Time punches are correctly displaying as the exact time of the punch despite the local system time zone settings.

 

myWorkforce Enhancements

#73247 – Pending swap/drop shift requests now show a pending status until the receiving employee and manager approve the request.

#73248 – Managers will now see how many hours an employee may have if a swap/drop shift request is approved. The “If Approved” number of hours includes actual punches for the week, remaining scheduled shifts, and the number of hours on the requested shift.

#73249 – URLs included in messages are now clickable links.

#73318 – An option has been added to allow terminated employees to continue to access their myWorkforce accounts.  Terminated employees access is limited to the following areas within myWorkforce and will be fully revoked the February following their termination date:

#73318 – Messages will now display all recipients of a message.  For example if the message is sent to an entire department, the department name will be displayed in the “To” field. If the message was sent to specific recipients, all recipient names will appear in the “To” field.

#68767 – Pressing “Z” on a selected shift will initiate the shift swap process.  The next shift selected will then initiate the Shift Swap wizard.

#68768 – The number of shifts currently assigned to an employee across all schedules is now visible on all schedules.

Manager Daily Shifts Report can now be run for specific configured day parts.

#69784 – Added a summary band to the schedule screen to display the total number of shifts scheduled.

#59502 – Users initiating shift swaps/drops will no longer receive cancellation notifications for all potential requests once one of them is accepted by a manager.  They will now only receive one approve notification indicating the managers approval.

#59503 – Corrected a display rounding error on the Time Punch screen.  This issue only affected the displayed shift length.

#55877 – Time Off Requests will now have the 'Approve and Advertise' option only if the requesting employee is scheduled during the requested time off. If the request is Approved and Advertised, any of the employee’s scheduled shifts will be moved to House Shifts.

#56710 – Moved “Download Schedule” button so users can once again navigate to other schedules when accessing the website on mobile devices.

 

MyWorkforce Enhancements

#50406 – Managers can now see the Manager’s Shift Report in myWorkforce.

#55136 – Added ability for employees to send messages to each other.  The feature must be turned on from inside Workforce.

#55526 – Changed it so that if an employee logs in or otherwise attempts to access the Schedule page, and new messages have arrived for that employee, they will immediately be taken instead to the Messages page.

#55949 – Added a Subject field to the Send Messages page and changed the filters to be multi-selects.

#55952 – Combined the Read Messages and Send Messages into a single menu choice called Messages.  Cleaned up for formatting for the Read Messages page and added Compose, Delete, Mark as Read, and Mark as Unread buttons at the top.  When you click on a message it now takes you to a new screen for that specific message.  Added the ability to reply to messages and show messages in threads.

#55954 – Changed the messaging feature to send an email whenever an employee receives a new message in the system.

#56710 – Changed the list of Weekly Schedule links on the Schedule page to a drop down list.

#29936 – The drag and scroll behavior on the Schedule screens has been enhanced.  Users can now drag a shift to the top or bottom of the screen and the screen will scroll allowing Users to move shifts more easily.

#29946 – An employee with a termination date and without a rehire date will automatically be set to a status of ‘inactive’.

#30267 – Adjusted timing of auto generated meal and rest breaks.  Previously, the shift time would have to exceed the designated amount of time needed in order to auto generate the meal and rest breaks.  Now, they generate if the length of the shift is greater than or equal to the amount of time required.
