Stations

The Stations screen allows you to define the places where prep items and menu items are prepared. Stations are used to group similar items by things like equipment, area, or product type. By working with similar items together, you can make preparation more efficient. For example, you might do all of your meat carving together to consolidate cleanup of utensils and work area. Typical stations might be along the lines of broiler station, sides station, dessert station, and so on.

The list of Stations you create here is global and will be available for use by all entities in the enterprise. Any edits made will be applied to all entities.

After you have defined your stations, you can go on and define prep item positions and menu item positions within the stations for greater precision.
