Associating a Wage Group to an Entity

 

Entities that are under the same paymaster should be associated to the same wage group in Workforce.  Entities in the same wage group will be combined when payroll is calculated for each employee.  Therefore, if entities 1 & 2 are in the same wage group and an employee works in both entities, the employee will receive one check.  Note that entities in the same Wage Group should also

Adding a Wage Group

1.Click on Add Row.

2.Enter a description for the wage group.

3.To activate the wage group, check the Active check box.

 

Editing a Wage Group

1.Click in the Description field to edit the title.

2.Check or uncheck the Active box.

3.Click the Save button.

 

Deleting a Wage Group

1.Highlight the record you want to delete by clicking on it.

2.Click the Remove Row(s) button.

3.Click the Save button.

 

Associating a Wage Group to an Entity

This is defined in the labor definitions for the entity.
