The eXcellent Financial Functions provide the link from Excel to Compeat’s General Ledger data. The functions are offered free with Compeat and must be installed and configured in Excel. For installation information, see Installing the eXcellent Financial Functions.
The eXcellent Financial Functions include the following:
BAL which is used to return values from Compeat balance sheet accounts.
BUD which is used to return defined budget values from Compeat.
CalculationMetrics which will display the number of calculations performed and time used by Excel to perform calculations.
CalculationMetricsReset which is used to resets metrics data calculated above. This should be used in conjunctions with CalculationsMetrics.
GLDesc which is used to return the account description for a specified account number.
PL which is used to return values from Compeat profit and loss accounts.
VersionInfo which will give you the version number and publication date of the add-in.
