With Compeat, you grant users access to as much or as little of the program as required. Access to each of the Compeat menu options is granted or denied for each group of users you define. Additionally, groups can be restricted to certain categories of inventory, vendors, and accounts .
Set up security for your operation first by defining Groups, then by defining Users and assigning them to groups, all from the Security menu:
Groups are named and then defined by the set of screens to which access is allowed. Further restrictions are optional.
Users are named, given access to one or more entities, and then placed in a defined group. Each user must be assigned to at least one group.
Set Security Password lets the system administrator modify the security password that allows access to the Groups and Users screens.
