Polling Transactions

This screen provides access to the polling transaction records for individual steps on a given day. The polling transaction records are the authoritative source for determining if a step is missing or has successfully polled and is awaiting processing.

Failed steps are not reported as missing during missing day execution. If a step should be re-polled, this should be done by deleting the transaction record for the desired client, job, step, and polling date by either using the Clear Failed Transactions button or the Delete button on the individual line. Deleting an individual line is the only way to remove a successfully polled transaction.

Re-polled data for previously successful transactions will not generally correctly replace existing data (with the exceptions of labor and Insight data). The data should first be removed from the appropriate interface (Delete Salesmix utility, delete DSR, etc). Deleting a DSR for a given day will automatically purge any polling transactions for DSR related steps for that store and polling day.
