Use Inventory by Restaurant to determine which restaurants have created Restaurant Inventory Item records for a particular inventory item, and which restaurants have the item set as Active on the Restaurant Inventory Items screen.
An inventory item is flagged as Defined for a restaurant if the restaurant has ever ordered or received the item on an invoice or manual check. An item is flagged as Active for a restaurant if the "Active" checkbox is selected on the Restaurant Inventory Items screen. An item is flagged as Inventoried for a restaurant if the "Inventoried" checkbox is selected on the Restaurant Inventory Items screen.

You can edit the Active and Inventoried settings for any restaurant. This is a convenient way to change multiple settings pertaining to an item without having to go to multiple screens.
You can check or uncheck the ‘Inventoried’ or ‘Active’ boxes en masse using the Mark and Unmark buttons in the toolbar.
