Click to view/hide picture.You can copy POS codes, menu item prices, and/or target cost percentages you have entered when defining a restaurant's menu items to another restaurant or restaurants using this screen.

The following options are available:
Copy Options Specify at least item to copy.
Copy POS Codes Check this box if you want to include the corresponding POS code for each menu number being copied.
Note- if the copying of a POS code will result in more than one item in the target entity having the same POS code, the POS code will not be copied. You will receive a message alerting you to the item(s) that were not copied. This will only occur if ‘Overwrite Existing POS Codes’ is unchecked.
Copy Menu Item Prices Check this box if you want to include the corresponding menu item price for each menu item being copied.
Copy Target Cost % Check this box if you want to include the corresponding target cost percentage for each menu item being copied.
Copy New Records Only If you check this box, POS code numbers will not be copied for any menu items already in place— only new menu item numbers will be added, with their corresponding POS codes. Uncheck this box if you want to overwrite POS codes for the menu items that already exist at the destination restaurant.
Overwrite existing POS codes Check to replace existing matching codes with copied codes. Leave unchecked to keep original codes and discard copied codes (where new codes match existing codes).
Menu Item Levels To copy POS codes for a particular menu item level, enter the menu item level to the level of detail you desire; otherwise, leave blank for all menu item levels.
List menu items To copy POS codes for specific menu items, enter a list of the menu item numbers to copy; separate multiple menu item numbers with commas.
Menu Item Range To copy a range of menu item POS codes, specify the beginning and ending menu item numbers of the range you wish to copy.
Copy POS codes from entity # Enter entity number for the source restaurant (the entity from which you wish to copy).
To Specify the entity(s) you wish to copy to (the destination entity). If you want multiple restaurants to receive the POS codes, enter them separated by commas. If you leave this field blank, POS codes will be copied to all entities to which the current user has access.
To these store groups Specify a store group, as defined in your enterprise definitions, to copy POS codes to a subset of your restaurants.
