The eXcellent Financial Functions directly access the Compeat database to retrieve financial transaction information. The functions can access the data for both open and closed years.
When you execute a function that needs access to the database, you may be asked to login. Use the same login information that you use to log in to the main application.
You can log in to different databases directly from Excel without having to close all workbooks, by selecting Log In from the Compeat Add-Ins menu (main menu in Excel 2003, Add-Ins tab in Excel 2007).
