Sales taxes that you define here become available for selection on the Commissary Definitions screen's Misc Tab in the "Sales Tax Rate" field. Different sales taxes you define here can be grouped together using the Sales Tax Groups screen, and those groupings also appear in the "Sales Tax Rate" field. So for example, you could define a state tax, then a county tax, then combine the two, then select the combination to apply to a Commissary definition.
