This report shows how much inventory was shipped in different time periods of the past, in order to help you predict how much inventory you may need to ship for similar periods in the future.
You can filter the report by date range or week segment.
Using a date range filter allows you to simply report on the amounts shipped during the specified time period. For example, you might want to know how much Caesar dressing was shipped during the last month.
Using the week-segment filtering option allows you to average a week segment over several weeks. For example, you may want know how much Caesar dressing was shipped on average Mondays through Wednesdays for the last month, so you can plan your stocks accordingly. In this case, you would select last Monday's date as the Base Date, and then select 2 days forward, and 4 weeks back.

For each item shipped in the time period specified, the report shows which restaurants or groups of restaurants received how much inventory and when.
The following filters are available to customize your report:
Inventory Item # Range To limit the report to a specific items, enter the item number range that you wish to include in the report.
Date Range To report on a specific time period, enter a date range.
Week Segment If you use the base date you can see segments of shipping history. Compeat takes the day of the week you enter as the Base Date, goes back the number of weeks (up to 8) you specify, and compares a group of days forward (up to 6) in that week for report subtotals.
Example
Say you enter Monday, January 31 as your Base Date, then 5 as your Days Forward and 4 as your Weeks Back. The report will show shipments of Jan 24-28 in the 1 Week column; shipments of Jan 17-21 in the 2 Weeks column; shipments of Jan 10-14 in the 3 Weeks column; and shipments of Jan 3-7 in the 4 Weeks column.
Inventory Levels To limit your report to specific inventory levels, select the levels from the drop-down options. If the Group checkbox is selected, the Level 2 or 3 heading will display; if it is not selected, only the Level 1 heading will display
Initial View Select whether to initially view your data in summary form (Collapsed) or detail form (Expanded). You can modify this from the Preview screen once the report has been generated.
Show Specify which store groupings you want to show detail for. If all three boxes are checked, you will see subtotals for each restaurant and each of your designated groupings within the listing for each item.
