Import Advantage IQ Journal Entries

This screen allows you to import CSV files from the third-party utility payment service, Advantage IQ.

Instead of making utility payments directly, this feature can record utility payments that have been made on the restaurant’s behalf by Advantage IQ. Advantage IQ provides a comma-separated (CSV) file that can be used to import the necessary journal entries. A single credit to Cash will be made to the bank account selected for the total of each journal entry.

The screen appears similar to the Import ADP Journal Entries screen.

Importing Files

  1. Select the entity into which you wish to import.

  2. Select a bank code. The system will create a (reversing) credit entry for this bank's GL account number to cancel out the debit entry brought in from the imported file.

  3. Use the directory tree (in the lower left section of the screen) to navigate to the folder containing your data files.

  4. When a folder is selected that contains .csv files, the file names will be displayed in the right-hand panel; check the files that you want to import.

  5. Click Import Selected Journal Entry File(s) to import files.
