Same Day Polling

This utility allows you to poll data for the current date. You will be able to poll DSRs, salesmix, and payroll data once your end of day process has run in your point of sale system.

This utility is designed to allow you to poll your point of sale system without waiting for the scheduled Compeat task. Rather than wait until your normally scheduled polling time, which is generally at 6:00am local time, you can initiate the polling at the time you choose. This will require that your point of sale system has already run its end of day process. If your on-site operators have the ability to run the end of day process on the point of sale system, they can then run same day polling to bring in the daily transactions.

Note: Some POS systems will not be able to produce data on demand and will require that you wait until your regularly scheduled polling time. If you activate manually polling in the middle of the day you will likely end up with no polled information, as the POS system has not run its end of day processes yet.

The following options are available:

• Entity Enter an entity number that you would like to poll from.
• Client Choose a client to poll from, if you have payroll most likely you would have a payroll and DSR option.
• Job Type Choose a job type, payroll, salesmix, or DSR.
• Business Date Choose the business date you wish to poll.

Click Poll and the data will poll for the certain day you are wishing to see.
